Location tracking & journeys
Replay the working day
With each person's consent, the phone records where it is during working hours. A manager replays the day on a map: the route, the stops, and what happened at each one.

Off by default
Nothing is recorded until an administrator switches tracking on for the organisation. Consent can never be switched off as a requirement.
Each person says yes
A person is tracked only after they answer yes themselves. No administrator, manager or setting can answer for them. They can stop at any time.
Working hours only
Points are accepted only inside the organisation's working hours on its working days, on the person's own clock. Evenings and days off are refused.
Seen by the right people
You see your own journey. Others see it only if you are in their attendance reach; anyone else gets nothing. There is no live map of everyone.
Kept for a set time
Track points are deleted after the retention period: 90 days by default, 365 at most.
Stops with their evidence
Each stop opens a card: office arrival or visit, check-ins with type and company, meetings with outcome, and photos.
From consent to replay
How a journey comes together
Tracking collects only what the replay needs, and only with the person's own say-so.
Pick a person and a day
Journeys lists you and everyone in your attendance reach, with distance, stops, first and last fix, and their consent. Someone outside your reach is not there.

Play the day
The whole route is drawn faint and the played part solid behind a moving marker. Gaps are dashed. Play at 1×, 4×, 16× or 60×, scrub with the time labels and stop ticks, or follow the marker.

Read each stop
Stops are numbered pins, offices square. Reaching one opens its card on the map. The side list of stops, events and gaps follows the player and jumps on click.

Consent and replay on the phone
The app asks the person, shows the working-hours window and says they can stop at any time. Both answers are audited. The same replay, with its stop list and totals, sits in the app.

Watch a replay
A rep's day, stop by stop
The manager opens a journey and plays it. At each stop, a card shows what happened there.
The specifics
What is recorded, and what is refused
- 01A point every 60 to 300 seconds
- The organisation sets the interval. The phone records only while tracking is on, consent is given and the window is open. Points queued offline can be sent up to 48 hours later.
- 02Refused at the server
- The API refuses points outside the window, in the future, older than 48 hours, or outside the service area, whatever the phone sends.
- 03Spoofing is counted
- The phone's simulated-location flag is stored and counted in the journey's totals, with a warning. Impossible jumps and fixes less precise than 150 m are left out of the route.
- 04Stops and gaps
- A stop is at least 5 minutes within about 75 m. A gap is marked offline or unknown; that reason is an estimate from when the points arrived, not a report from the phone.
- 05Totals for the day
- Distance, time moving, time standing still, number of stops, first and last fix. An empty day says why: tracking off, declined, not answered yet, not a working day, or no positions.
- 06Tenant isolation
- Track points and consent sit under the same row-level security as every tenant table, so one organisation's data is never visible to another.

Evidence of a phone, not proof of a person
Tracking shows where a phone was, not where a person was. Withdrawing consent stops collection at once; points already recorded stay until their retention ends. The window follows the organisation's working hours; there are no per-person shifts yet.
Questions
Can a manager switch on tracking for someone?
No. An administrator switches the feature on for the organisation, but each person must say yes themselves. Nobody can answer for them, and they can withdraw at any time.
Is anything recorded after work?
No. The server refuses every point outside the organisation's working hours and working days, on the person's own clock. Journeys read only points inside the day's window.
Who can replay my day?
You, and people whose attendance reach includes you, such as your supervisor. For anyone else your journey does not exist.
